My New Toy

So I have been wanting a new digital camera for a long time now and I finally caved and bought one today. It is a Sony Cybershot and I love it! I have been messing with it all day trying to figure out all the cool things it does. It takes amazing pictures and even records video with sound! It is awesome and I can't wait to try it out for real in California!

Craving some time at the Beach

I have been longing to go to the beach for a while now because it is one of my favorite places and I haven't been in over two years. Needless to say, its time for some quality time at the beach. So, for Labor Day weekend, Jace planned a trip for us to go to Newport Beach, CA. We are leaving on Friday morning and will be coming home on Monday. Along with going to the beach, we are also going to try and take in an Angels game as well, which will be lots of fun. I am way excited and cannot wait! I will make sure to take lots of pictures so I can post some on here when we get back. Its going to be great!

Job Searching

Well I am on the hunt for a job. I have interviewed for three jobs and haven't had luck with any of them. The most recent one, I was called back for a second interview and was in the top three out of 130 applicants, but it didn't work out. So, with that said, I am starting to get a little discouraged. Anyways, if anyone knows of any job openings in St. George, please let me know, I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

Goodbye to Coyote Yard Care

Well, its official. Jace is done with his landscaping business. He gave some accounts and the equipment to his dad, and sold the rest of the accounts to his friend Willy. Willy officially took over today, so Jace is done. He is pretty excited about not having to mow lawns anymore. Its sort of sad to see Coyote go, but I must say I'm pretty excited that I dont have to wash grass stained and grass covered clothes, especially socks, anymore. haha. Anyways, Jace is going to enjoy his last couple weeks of freedom before his killer semester starts at the end of this month.

Tribute to my amazing husband

If you know Jace, you know he is one amazing guy. Well, Jace has been working nights as the repo man and I must say, he is one hot repo man. He demonstrated his greatness the other night. We had to make a trip out to Colorado City in search of a Yamaha Rhino and we were not at all expecting to get it.When we got to the address that we had been given we found that it was not the person we were looking for but instead an extremely nice and generous guy who happened to know where we needed to go. So, he climbed in the tow truck with us and showed us where the house was. As we pulled up to the house, low and behold, there was the Rhino. It figured that it was there and all we had was the tow truck. Fortunately, Jace's boss explained to him how to strap the Rhino to the boom on the tow truck. Anyways, after some struggles Jace figured it out and it worked wonderfully. We made it all the way back to St. George with no problems at all. As you are reading this you probably can't picture what this looks like, so I have included a photograph to document it. Anyways, Jace is amazing and I am so greatful for him and everything he does.

Us

I feel like I am always posting pictures of things and other people and so I feel i need to add some pictures of Jace and me. So here are some pictures of us from back in the day.

One of our favorite places...

Last weekend Jace, me, Nikell, and Ashton ventured up to Pine Valley to try out the Brandin' Iron steakhouse. It was awesome! It was our first time and even though it is a little pricey, it has become one of our favorite places for a nice night out. I had never been to Pine Valley before and I absolutely love it. I would love for us to have a cabin up there some day. It amazes me that we can be in St. George in 110 degree weather feeling like we are about to die, then after just a short 30 minute drive be in the mountains where the weather is beautiful. After our great dinner at the Brandin' Iron, we drove out on a dirt road and went spot-lighting. We were looking for any kind of wild life we could find and we actually saw quite a bit. There were tons of deer, even some big bucks, much to Jace's delight, and we even saw a bobcat! We couldn't believe it. We were all so excited, it made the night even more fun then it already had been. The next day, Jace took me back up to Pine Valley to see the camp ground and as we were driving through we saw a snake in the road. I couldn't believe it! It was just a little snake but it was still cool to see. Overall, it was a great weekend filled with lots of wildlife and lots of fun!
