Day of Love

Our Valentine's Day was great! We started the day off by sleeping in(glory be it was great!) and then we gave each other our presents. Jace gave me the movie August Rush and some candy and I got him some straps to carry his binocs when hes out parading in the hills. After presents we went over to his parents house to give them and Ashton and Nikell their candy. Then his family had a big party for Grandma and Grandpa Wittwer because it was their 50th wedding anniversary. The party was lots of fun! We had a wonderful dinner, some of the grandkids performed musical numbers and then we had a beautiful slide show of pictures of grandma and grandpa and their journey together. It was great to be able to celebrate their love and their amazing marriage. It really made me realize how much I love Jace and how excited I am to spend the next 48+ years with him. After the party we went out to ice cream with Jeff, Tonya, Nikell, Ashton, Doonie, and his girlfriend Lindsey, then after ice cream me, Jace, Ashton, and Nikell went to see the movie Taken. Theory of a Deadman and Hinder

A couple weekends ago Jace and I got to go to the Hinder and Theory of a Deadman concert. We were a little skeptical about it at first because we weren't real familiar with either band, but in the end it was a great show. Both bands were lots of fun to watch and we ended up liking a lot of their songs. Theory of a Deadman has become one of our favorite bands now. (Thanks to Ashton and Nikell for the great tickets!!)

New Favorite Movie

So we just got home from this movie and can I just say......

IT WAS AMAZING!!! I loved it! and Jace even liked it! I think everyone should see this movie for sure!

Missing Summer

Today is a very sunny day and it is making me crave summer. So, here is a list of things that I love about summer.....

Tribute to Seth

This is our little cousin Seth, he is about 14 months old and is one of my favorites because he is so dang funny and absolutely adorable. He is definitely going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up.

Jace's Christmas Present

For Christmas this year I got Jace tickets to see the Utah Jazz play the Cleveland Cavaliers and the game was this past weekend. We traveled up north on Friday and stayed at a hotel in Provo. On Friday night we tried to go eat dinner at PF Changs but we got there around 5:30 and they already had a 2 hour wait so we said NO WAY and ended up eating at a barbeque place called GoodWood and I ordered a steak and can I just say it was probably the best steak I have ever had! It was amazing! After dinner we attended the BYU Men's Volleyball game and then went to see the movie the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which is indeed a very curious movie. A funny thing happened while waiting for our movie. We were sitting at a table in the lobby sharing some ice cream and a guy and a girl walked by and Jace hit my arm and said hey isn't that your cousin? So I took a better look and low and behold it was my cousin David and his fiance! It was so random running into them but it was great to see him and to finally meet his fiance Natalie! They looked great and she is a very cute girl! We are very excited for them and can't wait to attend their wedding in May! Anyways, back to the trip, on Saturday we woke up and had breakfast at IHop and then, much to Jace's dismay, we did a little shopping. After shopping Jace took a brief nap back at the hotel then we headed off to Salt Lake. We got to the Jazz game about an hour early so we could watch some of the warm up and to make sure we didn't miss tip off. Jace wore the Williams jersey that we have and we bought a new Kyle Korver jersey for me. I was excited to have my own Korver jersey because he is my favorite player! Anyways, the game was amazing! Even though the Jazz ended up losing, it was sooo much fun! Our seats were great! Although we were up in the upper bowl we had front row seats and we had a great view! Oh yeah and during one of the time outs, WE MADE IT ON THE JUMBO TRON! It was awesome! It was the first time that has ever happened and I was quite excited! Jace was looking down when it came on so he almost missed it. After the game we went back to our hotel and ordered pizza. We woke up Sunday morning and made our way back to St. George. I must say, I was glad to get back home to St. George, out of the ugly inversion. Overall it was a very fun trip and can't wait to go to another game!
