Weekend in Salt Lake

We headed up to Salt Lake City this weekend to spend sometime with my parents and my mom's family. We got a special tour of the Salt Lake Valley from Dad. We got to see where mom and dad lived while Dad attended the U of U, Nate's mission home, the Draper and Oqqurih Mountain Temple, Nani and Papa's old house(where dad grew up) and lots of other places. Then we went to my cousin David and his beautiful new wife's wedding in the Temple. Elder Ballard sealed them and it was an amazing experience. Then later that night we went to their wedding reception at the University of Utah football stadium tower. It was amazing! The room had big glass windows on both sides and out one side was a view of the football stadium and out the others you could see the entire Salt Lake Valley. It was a very beautiful wedding and we were so glad we could make it up there to share in their special day and to spend time with my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Hope to see them all again soon!

Were they married in the Draper temple or the SLC Temple? That sounds like a fun trip!

I am so glad that you were able to take more pictures than I was. I was a huge slacker that day and it really was a beautiful wedding and reception!! It was so great to see you guys there. Sorry, we didn't get to chat much. Hopefully, we will get to see you guys before too long.

Your pictures turned out so good. I'm glad that we got to see you and Jace. It sounds like your dad took you on quite the early-morning adventure!
