its been way too long....

oh my goodness, i am really sorry i've been so bad about posting lately. we got back from georgia on june 9th and life has been extra crazy since then. i will go through and try to give some updates of what we have been up to over the past month. well, our georgia trip was amazing, and it was very hard to come back and jump back into work and school. i have lots of great pictures but we havent been able to get the internet at our house for a while so i havent been able to post them from my camera, but i will keep trying. next, we got invited to go with our friend jory and his parents and some friends to lake powell! it was amazing! i had never been before and have been wanting to go for a long time! it was great! there were about 16 of us there and we stayed on their house boat at wahweap marina and took their ski boat out and went wakeboarding and tubing. it was seriously one of the best times of my life. i love lake powell! and i have vowed that i will someday have a house boat to keep there! after powell came the 4th of July. the 4th was fun. we woke up and drove up to enterprise to have brunch with jaces family and then watched the kids compete in the foot races. it was lots of fun. then we came back to st. george and went to the roadrunners baseball game with nani, papa, aunt deb, uncle kim, and jake. then we went back to nani and papas house and jeff and tonya came over and we watched the city fireworks from their deck because they have the most amazing view. overall it was a great holiday! then on july 5th we headed down to vegas because our friends joe and nyckie had a birthday party for their little girl, jadyn, who turned one year old. we had a huge water fight and got completely soaked. it was fun, i felt like a kid again. we ended up staying the night at their house and had tons of fun playing games, talking, and lots of laughing. it was great for us to spend some time with them because they are moving to oregon in a couple weeks and we arent sure when we will get to see them again! they are great friends and we will miss them tons, but we wish them the best of luck!! not much has happened this week. just been working and jace has his last two days of class for the summer and he cant wait for it to be done. i've applied and interviewed for a new job with stephen wade power sports and i am really hoping i get it because it would be the perfect job. so wish me luck! well, i dont have many pictures to go with this post but i did get my hair dyed a couple weeks ago and its quite a bit blonder so i will post a couple pictures of my new hair so everyone can see it! hope you like it! again, i will try my best to get our georgia pictures and some others posted before too long!

We LOVE Georgia!!!

Jace and I have been in Georgia now for about 10 days and it has been amazing! Georgia is seriously one of the most b-e-a-u-tiful places ever! I absolutely love all of the trees everywhere (they make some people clostrophobic, but not me, i love them), I love the beautiful weather, and I absolutely love the people in the South, their accents are so cool and they are so nice! Its been so much fun being back where I grew up, my accent has even come back slightly, YAY! haha! We have had so much fun with my family and their adorable dog Bentley! We've been to Nates high school graduation, got pedicures, spent a few days at their amazing swimming pool, jace and dad have played golf, had a scooter accident, major sunburns, blown car tires, maybe a new car for mom and even a Braves game! Anyways, so far it has been an amazing trip and I don't want it to end! We have two more days and I hope they go by really slowly. Well, I dont have anyway of hooking up my camera to this computer so pictures will have to come later when we get back to St. George. But here are a couple pictures I found on the internet, one of their neighborhood pool, the golf course, and Bentley when he was little.

Georgia on our minds!

Well, Jace and I are making the final preparations for our Georgia trip and I am so excited I can't even stand it! We are driving down to Vegas today and spending the night at our friends house then we fly out bright and early tomorrow morning. We will fly from Vegas to Fort Worth, TX where we will change planes and then fly the last leg of the trip and land safely in beautiful, wonderful, amazing Atlanta, GA! oh my goodness I am getting even more excited about it just sitting here writing about it! We will spend 12 days at my parents house! My brother Nate graduates from high school on saturday so that will be a big day! Some other plans we have are pedicures for all the girls (a couple times because they are so inexpensive there, haha), a braves game (at least one), maybe six flags, hanging out at their amazing neighborhood pool almost everyday, and maybe a short two day trip to Memphis to see the birthplace of blues and Graceland! It is going to be amazing! Everyone please pray for us that we will make it there, especially with all of the crazy things going on with the airlines lately. Anyways, I will try my best to keep updates coming as our trip goes along. Big ATL, here we come baby!!!

New Favortie Movie

Last Saturday Jace and I went out to a movie with our friends Mike and Whitney. We went and saw the movie What Happens in Vegas. I had seen the previews for the movie and it looked so funny, so I was really excited to see it. Well, it surpassed all of my expectations! It was awesome! Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher were amazing together and it was so funny! I was also impressed with the content of the movie because it was surprisingly clean and not super raunchy like a lot of recent movies have been. Anyways, this is a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something for their next date night.
Here are a couple links to some of my favorite clips from the movie.....enjoy......

Solon and Alex Seal the Deal!!

The beautiful bride and groom!

Today one of our best friends, Solon (Chase), married a wonderful girl named Alex! YAY! We got to go to the sealing in the temple and it was beautiful! The bride and groomed looked so beautiful and completely in love with each other. Their reception was tonight at his parents house. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was really windy and rained a little bit, but it was still wonderful and beautiful! We love both of them and wish them the best of luck as they begin their life together!

SuperCross Races

This past weekend the whole Wittwer Family, which included me, Jace, Nikell, Ashton, Dax, Dallen, Jeff, and Tonya, all took a trip to Vegas together to watch the Supercross races. It was an awesome trip! We left early Saturday morning and when we got to Vegas we went shopping at the mall in Henderson for a while then we went to our hotel, Sam's Town. We explored the hotel and casino for a while then had dinner and headed to the races. I had never seen a supercross race so, honestly, I was a little skeptical. But, to my surprise, I had a great time and loved it! It was so much fun! Although there was a lot of beer drinking and some interesting people around us, the overall experience was great! After the races we went back to the hotel and had some Dunkin Donuts and then Jace, me, Nikell and Ashton put some money in the slot machines. All eight of us crammed into one hotel room, it was so funny. Jeff and Tonya had one bed, Nikell and I had the other bed and Ashton, Jace, Dallen, and Dax got the floor, haha. Just as we were all getting to sleep Tonya and I were serenaded by a melody of snores coming from Ashton, Jeff, and the loudest was Jace. Even though it kept us up for a while, it was quite amusing. We woke up early on Sunday morning, and had breakfast from McDonalds and enjoyed the pool before we had to check out. After checking out of the hotel we headed to the strip and Jace and I watched the Jazz game in the Wynn hotel while everyone else went to a music store and some places on the strip. After the game we packed in the car and came home. Overall, the trip was great! Hope we get to do it again next year!

My Trip to Provo

A couple weekends ago I made my first solo trip to Provo. I went up there for one of my friend, Megan's bridal shower. It was so much fun to see all of my wonderful friends from Georgia and it was great catching up with them and all the happenings in our lives. Megan and Aaron, two of my best friends, are getting married in Georgia tomorrow and I am so happy for them and wish I could be there to share their happy day with them! It's amazing to me how much we have all grown up and how we are all taking major steps in our lives. It is so much fun for us all to get together every now and then and be able to catch up with each other.
